Ketamine & Esketamine Therapy
Ketamine and Esketamine (Spravato) Therapy
Often considered for individuals who have tried antidepressant medication, counseling, or other approaches without achieving the improvement they hoped for.
Understanding the Treatment
An Emerging Therapeutic Approach
Ketamine therapy is often considered for individuals who have tried antidepressant medication, counseling, or other approaches without achieving the improvement they've hoped for. At Axios Medical Group, we are dedicated to helping you get better through advanced mental health care.
We offer ketamine therapy via intramuscular (IM) injection, intravenous (IV) infusion, and intranasal administration (esketamine Spravato). Each modality is selected based on your clinical needs, history, and treatment goals.

The Process
Your Path Toward Recovery
Initial Consultation
Evaluation of your symptoms, mental health history, medical background, prior treatments, and current medications to determine whether this therapy is appropriate.
Personalized Planning
An individualized plan based on your clinical needs and goals, including the recommended number of sessions, psychotherapy support, and additional services.
Monitored Treatment
Treatment via IM injection, IV infusion, or intranasal Spravato. During treatment, some patients experience temporary changes in mood, perception, or thought patterns.
Integration & Follow-Up
Ongoing monitoring helps patients process their experience, evaluate progress, and determine whether additional sessions or services may be beneficial.

Treatment Environment
A Comfortable, Supportive Setting
Our approach is built around the belief that treatment should be compassionate, individualized, and focused on lasting wellness. We provide clinically studied music, blankets, and an eye mask for the most immersive experience possible.

- Comprehensive psychiatric assessment before treatment
- Ongoing follow-up and progress review
Who Should Consider This Therapy
Many patients explore this option after trying antidepressant medication, counseling, or other approaches that didn't work for them. Ongoing low mood, poor concentration, disrupted sleep, lack of motivation, or recurring symptoms can all be signs that it may be time to reassess your treatment plan.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy may also be considered by individuals who feel stuck in their medical progress or continue to experience significant trauma symptoms.
Not everyone is an appropriate candidate. Certain medical conditions, psychiatric concerns, or medication interactions may require a different approach.
Individuals, Couples, Families & Groups
We are pleased to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy services not only for individuals but also for couples, families (18+), and groups. This allows for shared therapeutic experiences and deeper relational processing when clinically appropriate.
